Delta Hosts Safety Awards On Twitter, Spoofs Oscars

Black Iris has been helping the folks over at Wieden & Kennedy NY produce the pre-flight videos for Delta Airlines for a couple of years now. Last night, they took it to a new level on Twitter.
Perhaps this is a bit esoteric, considering that- until now- one had to fly Delta to experience their various comedic takes on what were previously dry, boring safety videos. They entertained while they educated. It was a great idea, and the response was so good that W+K has been introducing new videos into the series every now and then to supply the demand for fresh content.
Last night during the Oscars, Delta released a new series of videos on Twitter as part of its own awards show: The Safetys. Who wins “Best Worst Placard”? Did Screaming Goat take home the Lifetime Achievement Safety?
