Last week the Richmond crew made a special trip to the Richmond Musician’s Union to visit the long-serving, solitary representative, and wish her a happy birthday. Please enjoy, “Happy Birthday, Laura Whitley”
Someone tipped us off to this awesome clip of Fool’s Gold and Local Natives bringing the party at The Lowlands Festival in The Netherlands. We’re hoping that the random YouTube comment “Geweldig dit, ik was erbij
” translates to “Looks like a rad party” in English.

While it’s been a busy and rewarding summer for our bands, we’ve been quietly working on some exciting opportunities. The Black Iris Collective is proud to announce the newly renamed White Iris Records, the home of our vinyl series and artists. To celebrate, we’re putting the finishing touches on our first release under the new name and new design: Fool’s Gold remixes of Local Natives - Wide Eyes and now Free Energy - Bang Pop. Be on the lookout for the vinyl to make it’s way to the public in the fall, but for now, please enjoy the tracks.

Check out our boys and the pillow fight they caused. Crazy babies!

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who entered our Bright Falls Vinyl Giveaway by sharing their Summer Jams. It was a difficult decision, but our esteemed judges chose (in no particular order):
Thanks again to everyone who entered, and keep your eyes peeled for future similar contests.
